Store in the refrigerator 7-10 days.<\/p>\n<p>For the next 7-10 days, either squeeze and massage <strong>your starter<\/strong> in its bag or stir it gently with a spoon, daily.<\/p>\n<p><em>Day of Baking:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Frugal Fanny Style:<br \/>\nyour starter dough<br \/>\n1 cup flour<br \/>\n1 cup milk<br \/>\n1 cup sugar<\/p>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl, combine <strong>your starter<\/strong>, flour, milk, and sugar.\u00a0 Mix well.\u00a0 Scoop out two cups for two more starters for yourself.\u00a0 Continue to Hungry Hippo Style.<\/p>\n<p>OR skip this step and move straight on to<\/p>\n<p>Hungry Hippo Style:<br \/>\nyour starter dough<br \/>\n1 cup flour<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\/4 cup vegetable oil<br \/>\n1\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n3\/4 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp baking soda<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\nsoftened or melted butter<br \/>\nsugar for dusting<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 325F.<\/p>\n<p>Grease a loaf pan or muffin tin with soft or melted butter.\u00a0 Dust with sugar.<\/p>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl, combine <strong>your starter<\/strong> and all the other ingredients.\u00a0 Beat until well blended.\u00a0 If you want to fold in fruit or other bread or muffin add-ins, now is the time to fold them in.\u00a0 Pour batter into loaf pans or muffin cups.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 22-25 minutes until dark golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Planning\/Party Patsy Style:<br \/>\nDo Frugal Fanny Style except only scoop out one cup of new starter for yourself.\u00a0 Double the ingredients in Hungry Hippo Style and make two loaves of bread or a loaf of bread and 12 muffins (pictured).\u00a0 If you bake them side by side, increase bake time to 45-60 minutes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Is Stacie Amish? Bring on the farm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Cuppy,&#8221; you ask, &#8220;what happened to the nice even numbers of 1 scoop this, 1 scoop that?!&#8221; I strangely found the original recipe too sweet. Yes, <strong><em><\/em>I<\/strong> thought something was too sweet. I blame La Ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Do you need to share this starter? No. Do you need to share the bread or muffins?
