Don&#8217;t ever try to pass this off as a real bread pudding, especially to southern grandmas. Adapted from Kraft Food &amp; Family&#8217;s Rustic Chocolate-Cinnamon Bread Pudding.<\/p>\n<p>6-8 slices of bread, cubed (or in my case, 6 hot dog buns!!)<br \/>\n1 3\/4 cup milk*<br \/>\n1\/2 cup cream cheese*<br \/>\n1\/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips<br \/>\n2 large eggs*<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ground cinnamon<br \/>\npinch of nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_373\" style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/recipes.cuppylicious.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/choc_cin_bread_pudding02.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-373\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-373\" title=\"choc_cin_bread_pudding02\" src=\"http:\/\/recipes.cuppylicious.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/choc_cin_bread_pudding02.jpg\" alt=\"Slice of warm tasty goodness.\" width=\"250\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-373\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Slice of warm tasty goodness.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl, cream together cheese and sugar until well blended. Add eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix well. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Place bread in 8-inch square baking dish; top with cream cheese mixture and chocolate chips.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 30 to 35 min. or until set in center. Cool slightly.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>* I prefer everything to be room temperature when I&#8217;m baking.
