No yellow here!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Total time:\u00a0 Anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>I decided that the presentation didn&#8217;t do the flavor justice. There&#8217;s just something about that bright yellow that really turned me off, plus it just took too long. I wanted to try something else.<\/p>\n<p>2 T olive or peanut oil<br \/>\n2 T lemon juice<br \/>\n1 tsp ginger powder or 1 T fresh ginger root<br \/>\n1 tsp cayenne pepper<br \/>\n1 tsp garlic powder or fresh chopped garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 pound of pork loin or chops<\/p>\n<p>Marinate the meat for 4-24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>This is the marinade I use when I don&#8217;t have time to let it soak overnight. It tastes equally as good as <a href=\"http:\/\/recipes.cuppylicious.net\/?p=67\">Pork Satay I<\/a>, although the flavors are incredibly different. I use the same <a title=\"Peanut Sauce\" href=\"http:\/\/recipes.cuppylicious.net\/?p=100\" target=\"_blank\">Peanut Sauce<\/a> for both satay recipes, and I&#8217;ve taken to serving my pork satay and peanut sauce with spinach.<\/p>\n<p>Dip fresh spinach into boiling water for 10 seconds, remove, drain, and serve immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Served here with <a title=\"Thai Style Risotto\" href=\"http:\/\/recipes.cuppylicious.net\/?p=107\" target=\"_blank\">Thai &#8220;risotto&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faster, easier marinade for your spicy pork with peanut sauce (or anything else).
