The “green sauce” for enchiladas uses Anaheim chiles or pasillas, tomatillos, and chicken broth. Hearty stew with lots of meat and vegetables; Brunswick Stew is whatever you have on hand. Just like Pork Satay II, except includes minced ginger root, minced dragon chili and fish sauce. Sausage, eggs, potatoes and biscuit all in one. Swiss-German potato cake, with your choice of filling. Bacon wrapped chicken breasts with a hint of lime and salsa. Tamarind paste is really what makes this a great dish. Fall smells and flavors in a pork chop; the fresher the food, the better the scent and taste. Pork and barbecue sauce, it’s really that simple. The dish is the only way I can make the German dish, and it is pretty close to what Mom makes… |
